Loomia Serpentine Bus

This swatch explores application of the Loomia Serpentine Bus onto woven fabric. After experimentation with a variety of knit, woven and non-structured fabric, I landed on a cotton muslin, mounting the bus on the bias.

I wanted to explore how to utilize the stretch capabilities of the design in tandem with the fabric. Additionally, I explored sewing to the traces with my sewing machine rather than by hand.

With the right stitch selections and conductive thread, I was able to use the sewing machine to cleanly connect to the bus which saved a ton of time and looked clean and tidy!
